Global Business Partners Asia Limited, or GBP Asia for short, is a long-established professional supply chain management company located in China. We act as our clients’ outsourced strategic sourcing partner, aiming to smooth business transactions between production organizations and their product purchasers, whether located in China or further afield.

Management of existing supply chains
We can make your business transactions in China and the surrounding areas streamlined and efficient, leading to cost and time savings.
Sourcing of new products
Services span requesting samples for your approval, agreeing pricing and terms with factories, and carrying out certificate of conformity audits and pre-purchase audits before you place the initial order.
Management of order processing
We make sure your goods are ready within the time frame and costs agreed and documented within the order contract. We maintain constant communication with the factory(ies) so that everything in your supply chain runs as it should.
Pre-shipment inspections
We check the goods before allowing them to be shipped. We offer anything from 100% inspections to Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) assessments. We also assist in resolving any issues arising from the inspection before goods are released.

Ollie Page
UK Director
Ollie has been involved in business within the Far East for over a decade now and spends his time split between his UK, China and Hong Kong business bases. Importing vast amounts of products each month and supplying the UK’s largest retailers, Ollie has in-depth experience of what’s required to meet the needs of some of the most demanding traders – be that product or factory development demands. Of the UK businesses he services, one is now the market leader in its field with a number of its brands since importing from the Far East. Ollie has recently become involved in assisting and supplying the world’s 18th largest company in their branded product offering and supplying just over 45,000 outlets globally.
Ollie has also set up a wholly foreign-owned enterprise (WFOE) office in Hong Kong and thus can fully advise clients on setting up and managing such arrangements. Ollie fully understands Chinese business practices, Chinese law, and has extensive knowledge of social compliance and certificate of conformity (COC) audits.
Carmen Leung
China Director
Carmen previously worked for several multi-national companies and now has over 20 years’ experience working with western companies. She also managed a UK business for many years within China, giving her comprehensive knowledge of both British and Chinese business practices and business management in both countries.
She is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and the local language Dongguanese. Furthermore, she has got a degree both in chemistry and accountancy. Carmen can give valuable advice on all areas of business within China.
Alan Lazell
Consultant
Alan was born in Preston, Lancashire, within the UK. He has lived in mainland China for nearly 30 years. He possesses more than 40 years’ experience in the shoe industry working for one of the world’s largest shoe producers in the quality control (QC) department.
Alan understands Chinese culture and business, and specializes in quality assurance and QC matters. He has worked in over 53 countries so has fantastic oversight of world business, especially in the Far East region, and fully supports our China-based team.
Leslie Tse
Senior Account Manager
Leslie had been with us since 2016 and has over 20 years’ experience in branded product development and management in one of the world’s leading apparel brands. She has a keen eye for new and innovative products, excels at product research and development, and is talented at material sourcing and manufacturing resolutions.
Leslie has a strong work ethic and unquestionable integrity, as well as being extremely detail based and highly organized. On top of this, Leslie is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and dabbles in Japanese.
Leslie was born and raised in Dongguan and enjoys music, art, fashion, watching sports and movies, and travelling in her spare time.
Anne Huang
Account Manager
Anne studied Finance and Economics at university, and went on to manage operations at a large shoe sourcing company coordinating 17 countries and 43 areas. Her English language skills are fantastic. She has vast experience with UK clients, holds the position of HR manager and possesses office organizational and staff management abilities that are second to none. She is a dedicated member of our team, and she’s extremely well liked by her clients and colleagues alike.
Doris Zheng
Account Manager
Doris majored in business English and was awarded an “Outstanding” certification. Her English language skills are excellent, as is her Mandarin and Cantonese. She is also fluent in Chaoshan, a unique language of China that can be compared to Gaelic in the UK. She has been successful in building a new brand for one of our clients from trademark right through to manufacture.
As part of her repertoire, she is computer savvy, learns quickly, and diligently and patiently studies all regulations in both China and Europe.
Minnie Wu
Born in Guangdong Province, Minnie majored in Business English at Anhui Financial & Economic University in the province of Anhui, known as the home of Chinese opera. Fluent in English, Minnie brings with her more than 14 years of international footwear merchandising, and production planning management experience, with one of the world’s iconic footwear brands K-Swiss. Highly organized and efficient, she has good analytical skills and an excellent ability for systematical management. Minnie joined us in 2022 and immediately made a positive contribution to the business which she continues to build upon.
Paul Chen
Founded in 1909, Paul attended Lanzhou University in Gansu Province where he majored in mechanical manufacturing, design, and electrical engineering. Latterly, Paul ran his own business producing precision, high quality CNC engineered molds and components, based in the exhilarating seaside city of Qingdao in Shandong Province. Following the Covid outbreak, Paul moved to Dongguan and joined GBP bringing with him a wealth of experience in AutoCAD 2D drawing, Siemens NX 3D modeling and management skills. He’s an enthusiastic character who brings warmth and fun to our office.
Lydia Deng
Account Assistant
Lydia is the newest recruit to our expanding team. She has worked for a handbag manufacturer in China for 4 years who produces for the likes of Ted Baker and Dylan Kain. She fully understands the whole trading process with quality standards from both factory and client’s points of view. She is a great asset for our clients, suppliers and our business.
Winnie Wen
Account Assistant
Winnie was born and bred in Dongguan where our office is situated. She is multilingual – speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese and the local Dongguanese language. Since joining our business in 2019, she has progressed to become our toy expert, be it finding the right factory or helping to get the correct country-dictated quality certificates for our clients.
Rebekah Zhang
Account Assistant
Rebekah has worked for the international leading testing company Intertek, who has 1,000 testing facilities in over 100 countries. Rebekah has a sound knowledge of quality control and with her ETM English level 8, can readily and easily communicate with our clients. She’s currently involved in environmental materials product sourcing for consumers with the placement of an impressive volume of new production line orders. To top it all, she’s intelligent, works quickly and has a bright future within our business.
